Love knows no bounds.
But prejudice knows only boundaries.

Because sexual relationship create kids, most of the time, and then you have an innocent victim if things go wrong. Therefore, people would like us to make kids when there is at least some attempt at making it a committed two parent relationship.
Same sex parents? Not a good model for the kid. He/she does not get a balanced view of life because men and women come at life from different perspectives. So having both around creates well-balanced kids (usually lol).
Most people worry about interracial couples only because there exists a minority who treat them differently. No problem there, and that problem is getting better.

I think it all depends on Money. I've been married twice, both times for love, to people that "matched" the typical scenario. I have friends that are homosexual and friends that are "cross racial," (Lucky Me!) and we're all quite happy doing our own thing.
The problem lies with the extremely right, evangelistic part of society that believes that if it isn't a MAN and a WOMAN, who match, then society will fall apart or destroy it's self. They also don't want "those other people" to take advantage of the rewards given to those that follow the rules. Social Security benefits, Health care policies, child bearing, they all get complicated when you try to beat the laws of science...

I'm in total agreement with you. In a free society people should be free to do as they wish as long as they're not hurting anyone else. I think some of these issues are distractions by the media. Most people I know feel the same way you do! Most honestly don't care.

It come from traditions, forced relationship and marrige. Some familys force the bride/groom to choose a person to their preference not the brides/grooms. In India forced relationships still happen, or the person is just fussy about people.Growing up can affect what you think of people.
Hope it helps! : D

Interesting you didn't mention anything with children, they are usaually the victims of these relationships. Well not interracial, I don't have a problem with that.
