Yes ... when I was 19 I made a very stupid and foolish decision to do drugs ... I thought it would be harmless and that nothing bad would happen .... well I got hooked and went down a very bad dead end road ... and I hurt alot of people in the process - and lost contact with so many - because they just didnt want to be around me - while I was killing myself. I have been sober now 4 1/2 years and I have regained contact with most of them and have tried with one ... I have sent letters to him .../ but nothing yet. I would give anything to have contact with him again - he was my bestfriend for many years ...... But I have to respect his choice .... his life and everyone elses went on ....

Yes i`ve been trying for years. I went to school with her from age 5 to age 11. She was my one and only friend. Her name was maria law. She was adopted from a children`s home. I was always really envious of her, coz her adoptive mother would always tell her to put her cardigan on it was cold, or be hugging her. I never got hugged. I loved maria ! At age 11 we broke up from school for the summer holidays, and we were going to the same high school, but she didn`t turn up. I couldn`t understand it and i was devastated. Then i heard from a teacher at my new school that maria was in a children`s home, as during the summer she had been on holiday with her ( adoptive ) parents, there had been a plane crash, and her parents were killed. Maria survived and was put back in the kid`s home.
( How unlucky can one child get....? )
I asked this teacher where the home was, and i kept asking my mother if she would take me to see her. I never got to go, and i never saw maria again.
I have searched for her for years. I`m 52 now and maria will be as well. I would love to see her again, find out if life has yet been kind to her - i hope so !
So, maria, if you`re reading this my love - there is someone here who would dearly love to hear from you.................

My best friend from Sophmore year H.S. I've recently moved 2 blocks from where her and her mother live/lived. I want to ring the bell but that was 10 years ago.

yes. She was my best friend when growing up in Fance. I have been looking for her for over a year now. No trace. Her name is Anne Moyanno. Last time I checked, she was living in Nice France.

My best friend, because I made a stupid mistake and moved with a guy I just met out of state and I can't get ahold of her anymore. I'll never forgive myself for that.
