Yahoo! Answers is not a classified ad site.

Head over to http://www.craigslist.org and to http://www.postaroo.com and place your free 'for sale' ads.

Good luck.

Go to abebooks.com to get a sense of the value of each book (type in title, author, and then limit your search by the publisher and publication date, if you have it). Make sure you find a book of the same edition in comparable condition to find out a realistic estimate of what each book is worth. Just because they're old, unfortunately doesn't mean they're valuable. Then, I'd sell them on ebay under "Books: Antiquarian and Collectible." Ebay is a great forum for selling antiquarian books- the valuable stuff goes for thousands of dollars, and even the bric-a-brac gets a decent price.

Check out several different(in different cities if possible) rare booksellers either on the web or in person. Another option is to check out both Sothbey's and Christie's auction house websites(they have experts in this field as well as paintings). Lastly, if those options don't help you, you may want to ask the Librarian at the Library of Congress' website at: loc.gov and see if they can give you more options.
