Why do people hate Phil Simms he is a legend. dont look at his career stats look at what he did with the giants before he was hurt geting the giants to super bowls and the playoffs.

I am a giants fan so I can not hate Phill Simms. He is one of the greatest NY Giants Quarterbacks after Fran Tarkleton and Y.A. Tittle.

Because he too frequently speaks of things he has no actual knowledge about. Put him in any given city and he will give you tidbits that are incorrect. He's especially brutal in Philly where he spends more time bashing the fans then he does giving his commentary on the game.
He wasn't that great of a QB either...right system, right teammates, right coach!

I think people know him more for his TV personality than his time as a QB. Overall I don't like his over confident and obnoxious persona on TV.

I don't hate him. I wasn't a fan of his when he played, but I think he is a great announcer.

I thought he was a very good quarterback. I do not think he is a good announcer (but he isn't the worst one).

i think he was an excellent QB who played great in the big games.......
no problems here
but i think he coddles his son too much
