ok go to the bottom of the street and turn left, then take the second exit at the roundabout. carry on down the road until you get to a big field, then turn right asap. follow the track to the end and voila, you are now in the middle of nowhere.

In the British Army they have or at least had a common name for the middle of nowhere.

Its called Timbucktoo.

I believe it is actually a small town in the north of Africa.

the middle of nowhere is basically when you're lost so you're not familiar to where you are situated or when you can't see another building, or a living thing in miles. :) OR.... when you flush yourself down the toilet and 'go with the flow' till your in the middle of the Atlantic ocean.... you don't see any buildings there!

It is the place that you find yourself in when you have taken a wrong turning on a journey, and have got yourself lost.
It is the place where you live, when you don`t like living there, especially if you are a teenager living a long way from your friends and any entertainment.
Or it is a heaven sent haven, if you like peace and quiet and space and to be alone.
