First computer was a Sony MSX (remember them?). It had a slot for games cartridges (which were really expensive) and it took hours to load the games from the tape recorder while making a sound like a bag of cats. Haven't computers/consoles come a long way in a relatively short space of time?
Manic Miner was way cool.

First game consol was 'Pong' which I built myself from instructions in 'Practical Wireless' magazine, and the first computer was Uncle Clive's Zx80, built from a kit!
I know, I know - not only am I really old, I'm really sad as well!
