Nope, not usually. I'm the "magic card keeper."
There are times when I may have a $5 in my purse, just in case though...

;o)

I only use cash. If you use cards, there's a record of everything you do and buy.

What I do and buy is my business, not anyones' with a computer and a reason.

Let's say you fall down and hurt yourself on my property and you sue me. I can subpeona your debit card records and prove how much alcohol you buy or if you've bought perscription drugs recently...and win the case by proving you were probably drunk--especially if you paid for drinks with cards a few hours before the accident.

One sample only. There are many others. Health insurers can find out how much bacon and ice cream and other fatty foods you buy and not give you health insurance because you'll get a heart attack and cost them lot's of money.

Yea babies, be cool and be all about the debit card. But remember, me and Big Brother can find out anything we want about you and your life when we need to.

Keep making it easy.

I'll stick with cash. About $100-150 all the time, more if I'm buying something particular.

I very, very seldom carry cash. I also use my debit card or credit card. My reason is due to my job. I am a state worker who does investigations, I also am a counselor. I am involved with a portion of the public that is capable of stealing my car/purse/wallet and so on, therefore, I don't carry any of those things (other than my keys) when I go for interviews or home visits. Good question! Nana

I always carry cash because there have been many times when I run up on someone that is desperate for some money and they will sell you something really nice for really cheap if you have the cash on you right then. Its all about being at the right place at the right time. I have bought some really cool stuff at really cheap price form desperate people. The other day I bought a PAIR of Bose 301 speakers from a dude that was trying to raise money to pay his rent.

I use my debit card about 90% of the time. If I have cash, I think I can just spend it!

I keep two fifty dollar bills in my purse in case of an emergency, but they've been in there for about 5 years and I've never used them.
I prefer to just use credit or debit. It's much easier and I don't have to worry about losing bills out of my wallet. Also, atleast you can cancel your cards if they are stolen.

I usually have a few bucks in my purse. I am a debit addict! Since the power grid failure a few years back, I always make sure I have a bit of cash on hand.

Actually it's funny. I had to have a bank manager help me order deposit slips WITHOUT checks. Strictly credit or debit card for me.
