if you are your normal weight or BMI for your size, then a breast reduction might be the way to go.... but at size 42, it doesnt sound like you are anywhere near it.

take it from a nurse who sees the results of breast reductions on fat patients -
if you are overweight, LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE you have a breast reduction. because if you lose weight after, youll end up with no boobs or strangely shaped ones.

you will also lose boob size naturally as you lose weight.

also being obese puts you in a significantly higher risk of infection, complications and death during surgery.

There are always risks with breast reductions and ANY type of surgery.

You would have to know the specifics of each "bad story"... did they smoke? THAT is a major issue with healing. Did they follow the doctors instructions? Did they research their PS or did they just roll the dice and go with the first one they saw (you should see at least three PS's)? Did they follow all aftercare instructions?

I have no bad stories from my breast reduction but if you want to look at and talk to some who have had bad stories, check out the site below. It is a great site to do research and talk to others experiences about it.

I had a girlfriend that had it done and the butchered her. It looked like the just chopped the bottom half of her breast off. Her breast were the same length as they were before the operation however they were flat as a pancake.
