Has anybody ever told outrageous, vicious lies about you to your boyfriend/girlfriend to try and break you up?

Question

My boyfriend's best friend got busted cheating on his wife, and somehow came up with the notion that I told on him, which I didn't do.....
He then proceeded to tell the girl he was cheating with (a friend of mine) that I had called her a "crackwhore" and got her all upset with me.....

Now, they are both trying to tell my boyfriend that I am cheating on him and using him..........stirring up a world of sh!t for us......

Why can't people just take responsibility for their own actions, instead of trying to drag others down with them?

Damn hun, that sucks. I don't know why these people are treating you this way.. if they are adults and cannot take responsibility for what they did then that is simply pathetic.
No one has ever done something that heinous to me, but when I started dating my boyfriend, a friend DID try to get in between us because he had feelings for me. He just sort of talked behind my back and stirred some s h i t up; eventually he stopped.
If your boyfriend believes you, my best advice would be for the both of you to ignore it as best you can. Those people are not worth your time anymore, obviously.

Well that have happened to me before and the reason I think that he did that to me was because I told him that if he is cheating on her then I am going to let her know because thats my best friend. He turned around and told my husband that I was having an affair with my husbands best friend and someone that he worked with and that pissed me off because the **** wasnt true at all. So I decided to tell my friend that he was cheating on her and she didnt believe me so what I did was put a camera in his office inside of a teddy bear and gave her the proof and now she believed me and my husband found out that I was not cheating on him with anyone. I hate people like that.

I would hope your boy friend was intelligent enough to realize this jerk lied to his wife so nothing he says can be believed and your 'friend' is a whore. If he is not, he is not worth worrying about. It sounds like you have got yourself involved with some pretty nasty people. I think you need nicer friends.

People love to stir up trouble. My son's girlfriend's brother told his parents some lies about my son and now they want them to break up. I have not figured it out.

confident. there have been maximum of moments as i became becoming up that I realised maximum of issues instructors, dad and mom etcetera became a load of bull just to make issues seem exciting. I bear in mind my dad instructed me while i became approximately 8 or 9 that funds became ironed to make it effective and crispy and that i theory it up until approximately 2 or 3 years in the past.

My ex's sister used to try to break us up all the time but that's just because she was jealous. It finally worked but, hell, she did me a favor!
