Hematuria, or blood in the urine can be caused by many things including trauma, stones, infections, and obstructions of the urinary tract, amongst other reasons. You are most likely experiencing a urinary tract infection. You will need to see your doctor for an evaluation. In the mean time, drink plenty of fluids including cranberry juice, and avoid coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks that contain citrus juices and caffeine. For any discomfort you are experiencing, you can purchase AZO which is over the counter, but this can only be used for a maximum of 2 days. Avoid any type of feminine products like sprays as they may irritate your urethra. If you are sexually active urinate after every encounter, and make sure you wipe from front to back. Also cleanse the area before sex.

in medical term, it's called hematuria. u might have an infection or worse, there might be something wrong with your kidney. usually our kidney filter our blood at a rate of about 60 times per day (if i'm not mistaken) to get rids of toxic or waste materials. but good filtartion of the glomerulus ( a structure in kidney) won't allow large molecules such as blood to get through it. if there's blood in your urine, then it probably suggest that there's some damages in your glomerulus. if it's an infection to your bladder - urinary tract infection, the dr might prescribe u with some antiiotics. try drinking lots of waters first. it might help u clear your urine. if it's still doesn't work, then go see a doctor for further checkup.
never treat urinary tract infection lightly because if it's not treated adequately, the infectious agents might ascend to your kidney and cause more damage. did i scare you? don't worry. if it's still early, then u'll get better in a short period if u get treated by a dr. get well soon!

You have a bladder or kidney infection, you need to see a doctor immediately. This will not get better on its own. Any time you have blood in your urine you should call the doctor when you first see it.

UTI Uniary Tract In fection, Uuuug! I had those all my life and when there is blood in your urine, its cronic so you have to get medicine to help flush the infection out. Drink lots of liquids (water and cranberry juice) Don't drink anything carbonated or with caffeine bc it will irritate you more. To help the stinging apply a heating pad on your bladder. Take it from an expert who suffered from that all her life! Hope you feel better.

blood in urine can suggest kidney stones but the pain while urinating can also suggest a bladder infection - either way you need to see a Dr

You have a quite serious urinary tract infection to have had blood for two weeks. Get an appointment with your doctor.
But drink unsweetened cranberry juice, it is excellent for the kidneys.
