As a Mets fan, I would say not soon enough. Last I heard was after the all-star break, July or August potentially.

At the earliest, september 6th and he might be out the entire season. The mets will know more at mid season and can then make a decision about picking up another arm for the rotation. Im a huge mets fan, just hope Pedro gets back to win us the championship this year.

There's no specific date, but if all goes well August.
From CBS: RHP Pedro Martinez remains on pace with his long-toss rehab program of his shoulder. Martinez underwent rotator cuff surgery in the offseason and isn't expected back until August. Martinez isn't expected to throw off the mound until late June.

Whenever Pedro thinks he is ready and it is time to get serious about baseball once again. From my point of view, he is all washed up, and his return will result in more injuries for him. Once an excellent pitcher, he is now a member of the "Has Been" club.

Chow!!
