Now you hear them all blaming the Americans for not planning for the peace.

Why didn't they find this out before they backed the war?

And couldn't they tell Bush, a man who denies Global Warming and who initially wanted an isolationist foreign policy, was not someone who could be trusted for his forward planning?

I supported Blair throughout.

As did many others, its the people who demanded action against Hussein, and then when it all went a bit pear shaped, wanted action against Blair that annoy me.

Now, some of the same people are demanding we sort out Mugabe. Well who'd be stupid enough to act on behalf of this fickle lot now? Mick

Good grief. No one is blaming Americans, the less read and fools may be. Any Leader in the UK would have done the same. I support the War and I'm a Tory.i wonder what you make of that, Put your beer glass done and let me hear all your problems. Have a nice day

Yeah, but even worse is the fact that had we said screw world opinion from the beginning, they'd have no reason to blame anyone. These blame America people are merely having a conversation with our socialist left.

Maybe Blair is the kind who leaps before he looks? It probably looked like a way to become a big man in his
country, but he should have done his home work. It all
backfired so now it's out fault?

We're Americans, we have big shoulders and we can take it. I would guess those are no different than those over here who voted for the war and are now whining like babies.

It's funny, now the Brits are like Johnny above saying they didn't vote for their leaders and acting like they live in a dictatorship.
They've fallen so far from their glory days...

I think you'll find it was parliament that supported the war not the country and Parliament is elected by only a minority of the entire population.

Good point! Tony and his cronies were just as keen to join in with the crusade as Georgie boy. Told just as many lies to get the country on-side, and used just as much rhetoric and just as many dirty tricks to crush any opposition. Now they can't face up to their responsibilities? Now that so many innocents on both sides are dead? Tough- Some of us remember, don't we ?

most people strenuously opposed the war, remember the dozens of huge protest marches? How conveniently we forget.
