I do not know how the other guy missed your question so badly, but no...anyone who defends the "rights" of terrorists should be held as accountable as the terrorists themselves and executed for treason.
It is time that people understand that if you are not an American citizen, but here legally, you should have the rights of the Constitution. But if you are here illegally, you have no rights. If you are legal, and break the laws...upon conviction, you do not have the right to cable TV, a weight room, sports fields, etc...you have the right to a 5x8 cell and 3 hots and a cot.
Until we start punishing criminals, rather than coddling them, it is no wonder prison is not a deterrant.
The NJ 6 are not human. They are animials. They are evil trash, and the fact that they even get to continue to breathe air and waste oxygen is a crime against humanity. They should not have been detained. They should have been shot on sight. Then we would hear a few days of bleeding hearts, and it would be over. Now they will get all of the media coverage to make them feel important before they are coddled in prison so some radical does not say that we are torturing them.
Pathetic that feeding them MRE's (meals ready to eat that our military eats) is considered torture. We need to re-define torture.

I think that the people that think that the 6 NJ terrorist shouldn't get a fair trail should leave because they are just like the jihadist no laws, no justest, just kill everyone you don't like or disagree with. I like to live in a country that puts the truth out for all to see, then the proper punishment can be handed out. When you act the same as your enemy your are the enemy.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in the court of law by a jury of their peers. We seem to forget this. Along with the protections of the fourth and fifth amendments, the sixth amendment guarantees that they have a right to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation, and to be confronted with the witnesses against them. They have a right to an attorney obtain witnesses in their favor, so they can defend themselves against these accusations. We have these rights to protect the rights of the individual from the government. If we start locking those who support these rights up, then we are no better than any dictatorship or police state.

Who are these people of which you speak?
I don't see why this is even being debated. Give them their day in court, and send them to jail. Sure we could send them to Gitmo, but what would that accomplish? Would it make us feel better while incurring the condemnation of the rights activists and other countries? That's ridiculous.
If you want justice, then let justice be served, swiftly, and legally. Or we can go through all the hand wringing and the criticism, and make a lot of noise to no effect.
The case is already in place. Court next week, prison before June. And let's see how the fair in general population.

There are plenty of home-grown nut jobs who also plot, plan and blow up things.
In this country, everyone is entitled to an assumption of innocence until proven guilty. Just because you belong to a race or religion that some find offensive, doesn't change the rights that our Constitution guarantees.
Theses sad young people will be dealt with...punishment will be meted out fairly. We are so insensitve to anyone who even faintly looks "Arabic" that we would just hang 'em and get it over with. Well, that's not how it works in our country.

They are human beings, thats why and at least half of them are in this country legally and therefore have the same rights as you or I. If you support right for one, you must support rights for all or YOU dont have the right to call yourself an american.

In the U.S. everyone has rights, even jihadists. Everyone accused of a crime in the U.S. is entitled to a defense, and under the law, that dfense is appointed for them if they cannot afford it. So, those who support thr rights of the accused are being American and there is no actual legal way to dispose of human beings.

This is still United States where a person has the right to according to the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution the right to counsel and a fair trial.
“ In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense. ”

I do not support the 6 NJ terror suspects. The Patriot Act should have been used to detain them over a year ago when they were first reported.
I support the American justice system that states you are innocent until proven guilty.
Having had first hand experience with the justice system from the Federal level, it is a necessity that innocence is assumed until proven.

It saddens me that so many people seem to think that it is a viable solution to kill those who have a different opinion. Particularly if that different opinion is in favor of upholding the principles on which this country was founded.
So you execute those who support basic human rights.
What is this world coming to?
