I have a business customer who has been wonderful over the years. We have had some bumps in the road but have worked past them. Recently they have become more distant and communications have deteriated. They have shared that they are considering other companies. What advice do you have for getting things back on track? Are there any solid approaches for solving this problem? We have a face to face meeting coming up soon and any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe he found something another company is offering, such as a lower price. The best may to maintain the competitive advantage is to offer the highest quality products or services at the lowest price possible in the fastest way possible. Maybe the competion is using a new form of technology that is saving the company money or they may be offering an additional product or service that you are not offering. You may have to spend extra money to keep up with the competition, but sometimes the return of investment pays the company back within a couple of years.
