First off......Arnold is unable to do such a thing. It isn’t within his realm of authority. I guess being the govanator could bully his way around to get something done, but why?
Not only would he lose credit and respect over his questionable political career but it completely undermines the whole legal system.
Paris (no matter what the excuses) was not supposed to be driving due to her driving under the influence. She was on probation and she did not abide by her probation. Therefore she goes to jail. Plain and simple.
However there are some "concerns" that this was a more personal matter. Mainly b/c a normal jail time for a first time violator of probation is 5-10 days. Within the court, both Paris and her mother were being crude, rude and disruptive during the whole proceedings. (How smart is that?!?) Not to mention they personally insulted the judge and prosecuting attorney...during the hearing. It sounds like the judge was tacking on more days for their attitude and for the fact of her celebrity, because based on precedent that was almost 5 times the normal amount of a similar violation.
Finally, I don’t' care. Paris is a simpleton that has never done "ANYTHING" to better society, anything that closely resembles a career and is a rich brat that thinks she is above the law. I say they really should just throw her in to the jail's population instead of protecting her like they are going to, b/c it would be pretty darn funny to have her come out of jail after someone had made her, her B*#$@.

No, and Arnold is a moron just like Paris, who knows what Arnold's been getting away with? I actually think Arnold should be doing time... and Paris should have to do her full time, as well as 2 yrs of community service like picking up trash from the highways, and cleaning the Rest Area bathrooms and out-houses:)

I think it is ridiculous to even consider a pardon for her. If it were you or me would Arnold even give us a second thought? Of course not. Maybe this is just what Paris needs to help her grow up and see the real world. Her parents are no better, spoiled, dumb, elitists.

Paris Hilton should obey the laws like everyone else. She seems to be sort of a spoiled brat. Instead, she should use her status as a positive role model. Remember the respect that Princess Diana had, and still has.

No I would like to see her sentance doubled. There was a pic of her today driving again as her ban was only till29 March, and she had a mobile in her hand while doing a 3 point turn. Any normal person would have lost thier licence for a year.

If he does, there will be a backlash on him as a politician, an actor, and as a person. The case is too public for him to quietly get her off the hook. And I am thankful for that.

I don't think he is stupid enough to grant her a pardon, it is just a desperate attempt from a desperate person
