No not at all! Its really trendy among teens. Just make sure your pants, jeans or whatever cover the foot area properly. Boot cut jeans work well with this look. You don't want jeans that get tight around the angle but you don't want bell bottoms either. Hope that helps : D

Well, when you say pants do you mean dress pants or jeans? With jeans it's fine, but I'd probably laugh at someone if they were wearing some rubber flip flops with nice dress pants.

Depends on the pants, and depends on the flip flop.
Dress pants+rubber flip flops=NO
Jeans+rubber flip flops=YES
Dress pants+fancier flip flops=MAYBE [depends on where you're going/what you're doing]
Jeans+fancier flip flops=SURE [ i mean people wear stilettos with jeans]

It looks weird to wear flip-flops in general. I don't understand how some people can wear them. Evertime I've tried they just fall off my feet or they get missaligned so to prevent that I curl my toes but then my feet start to hurt. Wear sandals instead, and besides flip-flops in the long run are really bad for your back because there's no support for your feet.

I don't see the big deal. Lots of people at my work wear the thong sandals with long pants. It's cool I guess since the pants cover the thong part so only your toes peek out. Looks like you're barefoot. Who wouldn't want that?

I wore flip flops myself yesterday and it was 55 degrees outside. Wear whatever your comfortable in.

At times, yes. I know hard core flip-flop lovers will disagree, but flop flops just aren't always cool.
