Do you believe that Matt Romney being a Mormon has any thing to do with how good of a president he would be and do you think he would involve the church with his decisions and why? This is not a bash against mormons. I have just heard a lot in the news about this.

Mitt Romney would make a great president. I would definetly think his religion has alot to do with his running of the highest office in the land. His religon defines his morals. He is not a Warren Jeffs LDS nut, so the Mormon thing shouldn't frighten anyone. Also listen to the way he speakes. It is obvious that he is well educated and a family man. He shares many of the same values that most Americans belive in!!!!!!

Must not have heard enough , since his first name is Mitt not Matt. The only ones saying that church would be involved are the ones who are against hi, Any person running for public office always brings to the table their beliefs that are internal. In our country have church made decisions are not allowed by law.

Mitt Romney's religion would not interfere with his politics. He has said repeatedly that there is a separation between chuch and state. However, I still don't think he would be a good President. At this point, he is just constantly changing his mind by telling people what they want to hear. For instance, his stance on abortion has changed a couple of times. My major concern with him is that he may become another "puppet" candidate like Bush with other people and corporations influencing him because he does not have strong convictions.

It is M I T T Romney. It is just an example that Democrats will use anything and everything to try to discredit Republicans. His religion has nothing to do with his potential for running the US. John Kennedy broke the religion barrier and the country survived.
