absolutly not. My dad retired as a pilot and he didn't learn to fly until he was 35. I'm 48 and starting a new career. It's best to be flexible and have several skills in these uncertain economic times. I've found that tradespeople generally have the best chance of remaining employed.

No. If you can afford to take the lower wage it's a great thing to do. It'll be worth it in the end.
My brother has started one with British Gas to be an engineer and he's 22.

I graduated college at 48. I am doing graduate school at 62. You are never too old for anything. Except I wouldn't want to give birth at my age.
