Puzzle games. Check the requirements of the $10 and under type games at Walmart or Best Buy or whatever. They probably have some old stuff there that'd work. Myst is a popular puzzle game. Civ II might work if you like strategy. The old Sim City (2000) would probably work fine. Really, anything for Windows 98 would work. Most stores that sell software have a section for old games for real cheap. They come in the little cd cases, not in big boxes. Check into it.

You don't really mention what type of games you like. These are games I like that would probably work.

You are out of luck. Perhaps you could play old games only. Use low resolution only and 16 bit color mode. Adjust these in display properties.
Laptops were never intended for gaming. It's use is just being expanded to include gaming but it will never perform like desktops w/ REAL video cards. Those powerful cards consume more electricity than your laptop that is why they have to be powered by a power supply that is heavier than your laptop.

Your RAM isn't bad. I formerly used a 256Mb ram to play games like Max Payne 2 with good enough perfomance. But you'll have to upgrade your video card. It's extremely low. You coulduse your present ram to play most modern games with a low resolution. but change your vid card.

wow your ram is low and your video card isn't very good. I dont' think there are any modern games that you can play. I have an intel core 2 duo processor at 1.8Ghz, 2GB (2048mb) RAM, and an intel geforce go 7400 256mb video ram, and even I have trouble playing some games.
