That depends completely to how the society is. If you are gay and you live in a culture that has the death penalty for being gay, then it is a heavy thing to deal with! Being gay is not a choice, so your whole life you would have to hide yourself or live a lie.
That limitation of freedom is truly horrible!
If you would ask if there is anything wrong with being gay, then no, absolutely not!

Thats a ridiculous question.. id be suprised if people werent offended by that. It's like me saying: Do you think it is bad for people to be straight? It's not a criminal offence! There only feelings. If people fancy people of the same sex thats just them. You can't be expected to know how your brain functions but it's certainly not 'bad'. bloody hell. If your gay im sorry. But i hate it when you get sum other people in the world going round as if being gay/lesbian etc is a disease or summat. Aslong as any acts are done in privacy, which is more or less the same for straight ppl anyway, what harm is it doing?

It's more important for you to decide if you think it's bad or not. The folks here tend to fall into two camps:
1) Mean straight people with an agenda that hang around in the GLBT forum to try to upset people.
2) Gay people who are already in the life and have already faced these challenges.
Get some good books or websites, do the reading. Talk to someone you know and trust about what they think. Then decide for yourself what you think.

No, it's not bad, it's not good either, there is no moral there. There is no intent, or choice, it's just a trait, like brown hair or skin colour. And like any trait that one is born with, it is neither good nor bad on it's own, it just is.
How you deal with it, and what you do with it, is what makes the difference. But that's you as an individual, you can choose if you are good or if you are bad, regardless of your sexuality.
So people can be good or bad, and be gay or straight, the 2 aren't connected.
And again, gay is a trait, it's no worse for people to be gay then it is for them to be blue-eyed. It just is.
Gay doesn't define a person.

No i don't think it's bad. You can't hate them for who they are. They can't help what they feel. It's just like if a girl likes a guy & a guy likes a girl, it's just that some people find there own sex more attractive.
