I just seen it again! Some one asked a question Will the Chargers be better than last year? His answer he picked was! LT is the man, He is my keeper in FF! Are you tired of trying to answer these people's questions,and their only picking the best answer b/c its their team,instead of the best answer? If you agree hook this question up with a star!

I spend time here I probably shouldn't.
I try to answer as many "novice" questions as possible because there is so much bad information, or worse, uncaring responses, floating around.
It's frustrating to pour time into an answer that is accurate and offered with care...to have an answer like "you rock dude" - get selected as best answer.
So - I'm with you.

Preach on Cha-Ching. People whose answers are little more than mindless sucking-up to the person who asked it are ruining the entire point of this forum. And those people that choose those types of answers as best are just encouraging that ignorance. When I give an answer, I try to give my honest opinion and not some political rhetoric. When I ask a question, I expect the same and try to choose the best answer based on the answer's content and not necessarily on the fact that they may share my opinion and/or favorite team.

i agree 100% you are totally right. because i know i spend time and effort on some of these things and then they pick the person that argrees with them. like who is better tom brady or peyton manning or who will do better colts patriots.
first i like the patriots and they are obviously better as of right now. and i think manning is overrated. so that tells you my answer, then the pick someone that says manning or colts then say in the comment yeah i love manning or colts rock.

You know you're absolutely right. This is about rewarding the person who gives the BEST ANSWER, even if its not the one you particularly like. Then again, if you type something in the box like #$%#bbbbbbb, you'll get two points for an answer, but thats on Yahoo, not the users of Answers.

Yes i agree and i also find it annoying that people just look at the first answer and select it as best without reading the better answers down below. (Not that the first one can't be the best one, hint hint)

i stopped going to the Religion and Spirtuality part of this because that was happening. and i couldnt stop from getting violation notices.
biased answers are picked best for biased questions
