if it actually is a mint error and not a fake it can be worth alot.. there was a dollar coin error made where one side had a quarter stamped in it... being that most of the errors on coins are takin back before they are even circulated and melted down and re-minted so if you have an error like that it might be worth quite alot... thoe are you talking american money I have never heard of a 2 dollar coin?

What do you mean by blank?? If you mean there is no legend on the edge, then it is selling for $125-$250 on line. There are people faking them. There is no way you can prove it really came direct from the mint to you one you take it our of the wrapper, which you must have done to see the edge. Now if both sides are blank, then you need to have it authenticated. So far there is only one and it was never put through the coining press, but did have the edge lettering. Price for this item as yet unknown. No matter what no one should buy one without it being in an authenticated holder. people are more careful now. It is a one dollar coin, unless you are from Canada and in that case see a coin dealer up there.
