Sachin should either perform good in 90% of the ODI that he plays or he should retire . Its as simple as that . He knows that the whole countriy admires him n he still hav that capacity to beat any bowler . but if he still doesnt performs he should retire and instead b'come d batting coach of our team

Whatever said and done Sachin Tendulkar is the best batsman ever to grace ODI arena. His stats speak for themselves and there is no other batsman who can even come close to him in terms of consistency.
The problem lies in the fact that most Indians think with their hearts instead of their heads when it comes to cricket. They become so emotional that they fail the take in all the facts and think rationally.
Sachin has only failed in the last few matches but what magnified it as a colossal failure was the inability of the Indian team to find a batsman to fill in when Sachin was going through a bad patch (as any batsman is likely go through in his career).
You cannot rely on him to perform like a robot every time he walks out to bat but give him time and I guarantee that he will come good. He didn't become the most prolific batsman of the modern era by sheer luck, he is made of sterner stuff and as they say "cometh the hour, cometh the man".
Sri Lanka had a similar problem with Mahela Jayawardena when he went through a terribly bad patch averaging just 3.00 in the last world cup in 7 matches and he continued this wretched form for quite some time after the 2003 world cup (he was even going through another loss of form when SL came into the 2007 world cup). But he was one of the most talented batsmen SL had and their selectors kept faith in Mahela and not only has he come good for SL with the bat but is also captaining the team.
If he had been in the Indian team he'd have been left to rot out in the cold instead of leading the team to a WC final.

"Class is permanent, form is temporary!"

Sachin even in the worst of form is easily among the top 10 batsman in the world and that is saying a lot of the caliber of the man.

So, whether Sachin should continue playing International cricket is a no brainer.

Well some people know when to make a decision. Some dont...So others should make it for them...I say Sachin should walk out of the side...He shoulld become a coach..a batting coach for the Indians...And by the way, he is not a maestro..its a bit too much to call him a maestro ahead of people like Bradman, Walter Hammond, Sobers and Brian Lara!!!

no i dont think sachin should stop playing international cricket coz he is no doubt a better player but also a gud source of inspiration to the youngsters n many other
though he has not been gud these days no doubt but we can say that he is nowadays not in form or we can also say that due to lack of practice on proper bouncy pitch may also be a failure for him n rest of our players
by this i say he should play

I think that it is upto Sachin to decide whether he should stop playing or not. If he is confident to regain his form and perform well, he can continue to play another 2 or 3 years.
