Team India is not performing well because they have lost the killer instinct & the urge to win which they had in the last world cup!The players play to cement their place in the team rather than thinking of a team goal. The best example of this sort can be seen in Mike Hussey of Aus who has to sacrifice his wicket most of the times because of the position he comes to bat in,but still he is a very good team man.
Also the difference b\w India & Aus is the fact that the aussies play the same kind of game in the crucial matches that they play during their net sessions!!
The remedy for the Indian team can be in the form of some fresh & young blood for whom playing in the national colours is a pride in itself!
The team should go out there in the middle & play their natural game with roles specified for each of the players.Like, who has to attack, who has to play the anchor role etc etc.Though it may take time but if the basics are concentrated upon, then we have all the talent & potential in the world to become a strong team in the future, let bygones be bygones & look towards the future.........

Look its not India playing badly. It is just that other countries have improved leaps and bounds. India had a perennial problem of fielding and running between the wickets. Have we sorted that out ? In many occasions we don't use our brains leave aside the idea of having a squash ball in the glove. But to be optimistic we have good future, this is just a lull phase. We should now concentrate on improving the infrastructure and having good coaches at the grass-root level. And yes we should pay a lot of attention to physical fitness.

Team India is not playing well because they are too busy calculating how many million Dollars they will make in sponsorships, match bonuses, Advertising etc.
Or perhaps they are taking revenge on the country for not imposing a Cricket tax as part of Income tax to be handed out to Cricket players that advertise for coke, Pepsi cars etc.

The poor performance of Indian Team in the recent past is due to their inconsistency to perform well to their potential. One of the main reason for this is that some of the players have taken their place in the Team for granted irrespective of their performance. If the performance of Indian Tewam has to be improved, this complacency should be removed from the mind of the players by building up a sgood bench strength and the non-performing players should be replaced by the players from the bench strength. Once this process starts, all the players will be on their guard and forced toperform well.
Further, all players should be made accountable by linking their payment to their performance.

I think Team India needs to improve a lot. Sachin either has to retire or plat better in the forthcomming matches. All the crickets fans are really angry after seeing that it could not even enter the super 8. New comers should be given a chance.

Team India is divided in reality. nobody is listening to nobody. So first of all, everybody should feel that they are one team and they aren't playing for themselves, they are playing for India. And for the Ad's there is no problem till you don't get so deeply involved that you forget everyhting else. So the decision of the BCCI in this is appreciable. And lastly, we should only encourage them not burn their effigies and cry on them. Everybody loses sometime(although its a high number for India).

No team work, Corruption, greediness, political involvement, no chances to young players( must kick out some old players and bring some young players), more one day games with Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand (will boost the confidence on players), Cricket fans must be calm down and let the players do their job well.
