My DH wants the MN Anne for our baby girl in honour of his mother... Problem is the first name! I don't want anything plain for the first name, or too common. Would two MN's be too much?

So, what to do about a first name! Any ideas???

I guess it depends on your last name... if it is rather long, then I would hesitate to add more length with a second middle name. (Then again, my great-grandmother was Frieda Sophia Engel Maria Lastname, so really... you could do it.)

First name... well, do you want to honour YOUR mother? Grandmother? It might be sweet to name your daughter after two women who have meant so much to you.

you never hear the name Elisabeth anymore. I think you need a fairly big name to go with Anne.
