Get a newer keyboard!! It's easy, if your using your right hand then use your thumb for Alt and pinky for F4. If your using your left hand then use your thumb for Alt and index for F4. Sounds like you have a vintage keyboard and you need to update with a new one. Hope this helps.

Try using two different fingers. If not you'll have to go to a second hand shop.
