i've been on birth control for three months now and i havent really had any break through bleeding and my periods have been pretty light. Well i'm into my second week of pills and i've been bleeding since yesterday. It hasnt been spotty bleeding either,it's been like my pre-birth control periods heavy.

It's actually kind of normal for that to happen. It can take awhile for your body to fully adjust to the birth control. If you switched birth control pills recently there may be a different amount of hormones in them which would cause your body to react that way. It could also be like what happened with me when I started. The lining of my uterus got really thick from irregular periods and I bled heavily for 2 weeks. They can diagnose that with an ultrasound. You may have cysts on your ovaries causing things to go a little crazy also. Give your doctors office a call and let them know what's going on just in case. The doctor may want to see you just to check and make sure everything is ok.

Birth control pills sometimes have adverse effects. Your periods become irregular, some spotting or bleeding is manifested. But the best way to know whether something is wrong is to consult an ob-gynecologist. Take care!

As long as she takes her birth control on time everytime, she should be fine and not pregnant. Also, you "accidentally ejaculated inside her"? Hun, you should know that she could still get pregnant just with the pre ejaculatory fluid. If you're still worried, next time use a condom as well, just as a reinforcement of the birth control.

It's possible that it could be that the amount of estrogen in the particular pill you are using could be too low for your body to handle (had experience with this), or an infection. I would recommend getting in touch with your dr as well to let them know what is going on to see what they think.

Your body is fine tuning your BC pills. As with all methods of hormonal BC's, the way it screws with your body, more of this and less of that. Blah, Blah.
