I'm assuming that you are on a PC/Win XP. In that case you can go to System Restore found on your admin task or control panel. What it does is it restores the settings and performance back to an earlier time, called a Restore Point, and undos any harmful changes made on your computer. Restore Points are automatically made by your computer at some set interval (ie. once a month), although you can change and set those yourself. So if you can go back to the last Restore Point or date before you removed your program files, you can return your computer at what it was at that set date in time and be able to get the files back. Although you should not lose any recent work that you've done and e-mails and such, I would back those up just in case before you do a System Restore.
And by the way, you can set the clock to whatever time you want but it won't really change much on your computer except cause problems on any programs that rely on time and date.
Good Luck.

Turning back the clock won't fix anything. There is a program called system restore (Windows) that can set your computer back to a previous date and will revert all programs, etc. to the state they were at that point. I have had to use it to get rid of some particularly nasty bugs on my computer. Try running a search of your hard drive to find it.
There are also free software that can go on your hard drive and recover deleted files, even after you empty the recycle bin. I have used one successfully in the past but I don't remember the name.

What A logic lol... Hey dear you can't get your lost data just with this stuff ( turning your date & clock) if you are on XP you can restore your old data .. But some times few deleted files are not restore only folders are!!! Better use recovery software for deleted data... go on search and find some good recovery software.

Total rubbish.
First, you should be backing up on a regular basis.
Second, do not do anything on the computer, theres a slim chance of recovering the data with data recovery software.
Lastly, if you only add/removed programs using the remove software method, they do not normally remove the data, so reinstalling the software may just work, but I wouldnt do this until the data-recovery procedure above is tried and failed.

as far as i know the only way you can do that is if you have made a "restore" point in the computer and it sounds like its too late for that. i would reinstall the software and see if you still have the information. and you need to get into your system and make a restore point to go back to in case you have another accident1

First go to the Recycle Bin and see if the program is there. Hopefully it easy and retrieving the program is a relatively simple process.

Double click the clock on your structures tray, then click the internet time tab in the window it brings up. make specific the container is checked for motor vehicle replace on the time. (immediately synchronize with internet time server) this might save it on the main suitable time.
