How did god come to be? If he is god, why did he come after the Earth? If he saw the Earth as possibly a good place for life, why did he make all of those changes? Why not create a new planet? Or even a whole new solar system? Cosmos? If he is god, and by definition omnipotent, why did he make a mistake with the first batch of animals? Plus, if the problem of the dinosaurs was that their brain was too small to control their body, how did they last for millions of years? Also, there were small dinosaurs too, whose brain/body ratio was higher. Why does god need man to take of all he has done? Can't he do it? If man is in god's image, how did god breath in outer space, before there was an atmosphere? If god is body-less, how did he manipulate physical objects? And what does it mean to be in god's image if god is body-less?
Please note that all of what I wrote does not in any way reflect my beliefs. I simply wrote that as a skeptic. In fact, I am a strong believer in creationalism. For answers to these and other questions, read "Genesis and the Big Bang" and "The Science of God" both by Gerald L. Schroeder. Although those books are from a Jewish point of view, the principles he discusses are the same for nearly every religion. (Certainly for Christianity.)

without evidence it's not called a fairy tale, it's called faith. Or a THEORY. which is what the Big Bang is. A THEORY, it has no more proof than Creationaism.
The real truth is probobly closer to, A powerful being we call God created the earth and everything on it pretty much as religions teach, given the one fact that when mankind is involved, they change the facts to suit them. What science has theorized is what happened physically when this 'God' made everything.

Your faith must be very weak if you need others to prove your unsupportable beliefs for you. I wonder, since you seem to be using this as a basis for believing your particular god is the right one, if you find out your hypothesis is wrong will you stop believing in him, or would you just ignore the facts that proved it wrong?
I think we already see the answer to that..

Which earth formation hypothesis? Nothing in your paragraph has anything to do with the formation of the earth.
Take it to the religion thread.

It's up to you to prove it with facts and evidence not for us to disprove. Without evidence it is a fairy tale.
