I was staying in Singapore, pls dont give me lame answer such as, tomorrow will be a fine day.. if u don't know the answer jolly well ingore this question.

It has to do with how the light refracts in the atmosphere. The denser relative moisture coupled with the angle of the sunlight coming through the air shifts from blue to red. That is also the reason why the clouds sometimes can look purple if they are thick enough.

Since you said night time, when there's no sun, it's probably the city lights reflecting off of moisture laden clouds or moon light filtering through the same.
