How long did it took for you to get to the level you are on right now?

Not even 2 month yet. At level 5 already..Probably wont get to level 6 for a long time.lol

I was on level 5 for the longest time! I come almost everyday! The thing is I didn't care in going any higher so I asked so many answers I would be on level 7 by now...! I just reached level 6 yesterday! At last! LOL Been here for 10 month now.

It took me 3 or 4 months to go from 1 to 7. Most of the points came by voting. Although I try to answer questions everyday.
Some of the people on the top got extra point through some sort of mischief but not by the people themselves. I think there are people who figured out how to give someone extra points and they did. Nevertheless this is a marvelous forum to participate in and I love doing Answers while watching TV or listening to music. You meet nice people all the time. And sometimes you meet some not so nice people but that's OK because they can still be very interesting. Sometimes you get to be with other things so you just have to force yourself away from the computer. But when you get a few minutes, you can come back.

it took me about 9 months, i come pretty regular, but not everyday. i just dont have the time. some of these guys made it to level 5 or 6 in a matter of a couple months. they must have a lot more spare time than i do.

I try to come 5 times a week to answers, and I started answering on Feb 14, 2006 and I am past level 7

I'm on level 6. I've been a member since early November. I only just recently got a computer at home though. You have to spend a lot of time to get to level 6 or 7. Good luck.

Just under a year to whatever level I am on right now. I sometimes have busy days and don't have a chance to come on to Y/A. It's funny, a year ago, most of the questions were serious and well thought out.

Le vel 6 did a bit of doing but the next level is like scaling the north face.

it took me about a year to get here..im getting close to level 6..but i moved away for about 6 months and stopped coming on. so i guess it took me about 6 months..i come on almost everyday. lately i have been here every single day. its too fun to pass up!!!

I try to come on Yahoo! Answers everyday.Yes,it took me a long time because of my exams and all.But ots worth it and I bet the people whom had the top contributor or level 7/8 answerers feel proud.But don't you just hate them for knowing it all,sometimes?
