After 33 years of marriage I have to say YES I do love my husband. I am not just "used to him" or "tolerate" him. I LOVE HIM. Can I say why? No, not really. He is loving and giving and forgiving. He is unselfish. He is tolerant, patient, kind, caring, fun to be with. He is always wanting to please and do things for me. Not just me but he cares for and puts others before himself. Anyone that meets him wants to be his friend. The younger ones wants him for their father.

I was told before we got married to "marry the man I could live the rest of my life with" but I think someone should change that to "Marry the one you don't want to live the rest of your life without". I miss him when he goes away and can't wait for him to come home. I want him to go fishing (which he likes to do) but I miss him while he is gone. I could go on and on but I won't bore you with anymore.

Have u heard the song "Love is in the air..."? It is so vulnerable, easily swept, blown away...It doesnt need anything strong to make it go...Get what I mean? So does love. U may love ur spouse when u take the vows, but it just dont stay... That is why some people doesnt love their spouse, though they do in the beginning!

Oh yes! I asked God to bring me a new love and this is who He gave me and I am very thankful. It's been challenging for our first few years, but through it all so far, we've survived it and have gotten closer. I know it's all b/c we're learning to put Jesus as head of our marriage. And slowly but surely, we are communicating more and more each day (we were both independent, do-our-OWN-thing kind of people, so it's hard to depend on each other for anything) Now we are grateful, have joy and peace when we do things TOGETHER and make sure to put each other first before our families. Even though it can be painful words, he always talks to me with truthful feelings. He doesn't hesitate how to tell me like it is, but with respect (and I the same). My extra/bonus reason I love him is that he knows how to satisfy me 'undercovers'. (hee-hee)

Yes I do love him deeply, he is just such a wonderful, kind caring man. He works hard, he has ambition and talent and he encourages me to be a better person. He makes me feel beautiful (even when I know I don't look it) he treats me with respect and tenderness, he cheers me up when I am down, he laughs with me when I am happy and he comforts me if I am upset. I cannot imagine ever hurting him, sometimes when I answer questions here people ask whether you would ever cheat, if I even think about how awful that would be, how much it would hurt him and how much I have to lose I know I could never, ever do that.

oh my...YES!! He's the greatest man I have ever known. He's very thoughtful and caring. He is SO family oriented and puts myself and our kids at the top of his priorities. In 6 years I am yet to hear him yell. He loves our kids and spends so much time talking with them, playing with them , and just trying to get to know them. He is honest , and faithful, and ...just an all around good guy. He's my hero.
