April 2006 from Durham Tees Valley airport to Alicante, Spain. My sis lives in Calpe and her daughter was getting married. We flew with Thompsons airline. Flight was the usual, trolley dollies trying to knock heads off as they ambled down the aisles. Had health problems before I went and had to visit doc the day before departure to make sure I was able to fly. He gave me the OK and on the way back from the surgery, I lost my purse with £200+ in it, also credit cards. Luckily I'd changed some money into euros and left it at home. Bad start, but the sun shone for the next 2 weeks and the wedding was amazing.

About a month ago I flew from Brunei to Singapore on Royal Brunei Airlines which used to be pretty good, but now half of the screens don't work on the entertainment system, and the food is mediocre. Because I live in Brunei, and because they're the cheapest option, I fly with them several times a year, going back home to the UK in the summer and at Christmas - which is a 17 hour flight.

In 2000. From Buffalo New York to Washington DC and back again. I dont remember the airline. I was a little scared because it was my first time on a plane so I didnt really pay attention to which plane it was. I probly would have if it was after 9/11 but that was in 2001 so it hadnt happened yet.

The last time I flew was in April 2006. I flew from Northern California to Dallas, Texas by American Airlines to visit my sisters. The flight there and back was really nice and I have no complaints. I have always enjoyed flying.

1963. My husband earned a trip from his workplace. Everything was paid for. The plane was filled with other people and their spouses in the same line of work as my husband.
We went in a chartered Boeing 707. We flew from Pittsburgh, PA to New York City to see the World's Fair there.
Then we flew from New York City to Nassau. It was a terrible flight. We hit a windshear and dropped 5,000 feet. We were just served dinner. Food flew all over. A stewardess pushed a pregnant woman back into her seat, and a man ran out of the bathroom with his pants down. When we had dinner that evening the pilot said; "I goofed".
When we left Nassau, we weren't climbing. Finally the pilot said; "We had a problem with the de-compression unit, and the co-pilot went and gave it a kick". When we landed back in Pittsburgh, Pa, everyone clapped.
I was afraid to fly from the very beginning, and didn't care if I even went on that trip, now after all that, I have never flown again.
A few years ago, my Sister wanted me to fly with her from Florida to Italy. She said she would pay my way. I said; "No thanks".

On April 10th.
Flying back from LA to Heathrow, London
Flew with United Airlines.
Never again they were rubbish. Although we got good seats and the the food tasted good, service was crap. We were given a meal just after takeoff and then weren't given anything until an hour before we landed. We went 8 hours with nothing to eat and there was nothing to buy on the plane either. We did take some snacks on the flight home because of the outward journey.

Last year on holiday, we flew from East Midlands Airport to Turkey (and back!). Can't remember the airline, it was the one connected to whichever travel company we went with.
The last long-distance flight I went on was about 10 years ago to Atlanta, Georgia in America and the longest distance I've ever flown was to Singapore (and back!) when I lived there as a child in the 1970s.
