Yes, I certainly watched it! I was first introduced to the life and career of Marie Lloyd back in my drama school days. We had one instructor there who was head-over-heels BONKERS about the wonderful lady and we were often encouraged to perform her most famous songs in our 'Music Hall' projects.
Jessie Wallace was brilliant in the role of Marie Lloyd; I'd liked to have seen her as Eliza Dolittle a few years ago! I know the script has been criticised a bit but this should really have been shown on BBC1 or 2 for a much wider audience.
By the way, on the subject of Richard Armitage ... who we weren't really discussing at all ... Mmmmmmm... Wow!!!

Yes, I watched it, Marie Lloyd was very famous, I quite enjoyed it, I thought the script not as good as Jessie Wallace's portrayal of her. I'd give it 6 out of 10.

It was repeated a little time later
Do you remember the old time music hall shows that use to be on TV I think you may have enjoyed then also
