I have never used bleach to unclog a drain. Try using something like Drano or Liquid Plumber. It's very THICK and won't run straight down the pipes like bleach would, allowing the chemicals to eat away at whatever's clogging your drain.

I wish I knew what type of tub stopper you have. If you have the trip lever type on the overflow plate, then remove the overflow plate and pull it straight out of the drain and you'll find a mass of hair and soap scum attached to it. Clean it off and put it back together and you won't have any problems for a long, long time. If you have another type, try removing the stopper from the tub and doing the same thing. But since you've used bleach in it, don't put any more chemicals down the drain. You can't mix drain cleaning chemicals with bleach or the fumes can be deadly. If the drain is still draining but is very slow, then put a couple of gallons of water in the tub and let it drain out if your going to use other chemicals. Good luck

Bleach is not a good unclogger!
You need to use caustic soda - a base, which is the opposite of acids. It burns skin, so be careful.
It comes in small pots, which you open and pour crystals down the drain, leave for a while and then flush with water. Be careful, and protect your eyes especially. It is corrosive stuff.
Caustic soda and hot water are explosive together and dangerous - obey all instructions carefully.
Use a plunger every week to clear your s-bend. Don't put stuff like hair and gunk down the drain.

Bleach does not unclog a drain, it makes it more sanitary, that's all. You were lucky.
It's probably full of hair from washing your hair when showering. Get yourself a bottle of commercial (gray) Plumbers helper, at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
Follow the directions. Also pick up a drain cover while at Home Depot, it blocks hair from going into the drain, a killer of drains but, a plumbers friend.

I went through a big Strokes phase a few years ago. I still like them, but they're far from favorites. BQ: Juicebox, Razorblade (so mockingly emo lol), On the Other Side, Reptilia and Evening Sun are my favorites. BQ2: Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt, Nine Inch Nails, Blind Melon, Nirvana, the Rolling Stones, the Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson, the Offspring... you expect me to be able to narrow this list down? I would say Gogol Bordello, but although they're NYC-based, I wouldn't necessarily say they're from America.

take of the trap at the bottom of the bath and take outside being careful not to spill any liquid then use an outside water tap and flush it through to take of the trap the large nut just at the base of the plug hole will loosen if you turn it gently to the left when putting it back on make sure the rubber washer in the recess is in place and turn the nut to the right make sure the nut is on the right thread it should go all the way up again without to much effort.

If your tub drain has a hair clog, you can buy really long hooks to pull the hair wad out or you can make your own using a wire coat hanger. If the clog is not due to hair stoppage, try pouring the following down the drain:
1c. salt, followed by 1c. baking soda, followed by about a gallon of boiling water.

i dont know what they thery are talking about. caustic will not help your drains.peroxide will eat hair but the only way to get it strong enough is to go to a mill or some place that uses that chemical in its full strength ( not at a store).honestly your best bet is an old fashoned snake. must be a toy or a cap of some type fell in there.

Bleach won't eat hair like draino or liquid plumber. Plunging it can help sometimes also. It's usually hair stopping up a tub.

It's probably hair, and bleach won't get it. There are products sold, specifically for hair removal. Check out Home Depot, or another home repair store.
