of course if your partner does not inspire you then there is no partnership, both partners must inspire each other, whats the meaning of the relationship if you feel dragged down by you partner. the partner must let you feel absolutely fabulous

I think you should inspire each other. Thats how you can tell that your partner is good for you, they make you a better person. Mine has influenced me to be more organized, more punctual, and to quit smoking! Huge influence. And I convinced them to relax more, and take some time off instead of working 80 hrs a week....

Anyone or anything that inspires you to be a better person in general, is a role model in my mind. The greatest ones however, are the ones that challenge you to grow, not the ones that stop you from growing....

yeah I think so unless you happen to have some issue with like maybe them bringing in more money or being smarter or something. I really look up to my husband but sometimes I am secretly jealous of him being smarter than me, he doesnt know that though, I end up always trying to learn something new just to impress him and make me feel good about being "smarter". Overall though yeah, I really admire him.

yep. my husband is my model in so far as he has far more patience than i do and i try to be more like him.
i am his model in so far as i am far more spontaneous than he is and he is trying to be more like me.
