Which Season of 24 was the best season? Why?

I personally liked the 4th season the best. It definitely had the wildest storyline, with so many attacks coming from so many different directions.

However, it also had the most plot flaws, if you paid attention and had a memory, like I did, you'd be shouting at the screen that such and such couldn't have happened. Even still, it was the best.

I think season 5 was the second best.

I'm disappointed this season. There have been several great episodes, but this whole sub-plot about Jack's family is just plain ridiculous.

His brother cops to giving nerve gas to terrorists and plotting to kill David Palmer to "give Jack something." What the hell could he possibly have been hiding that was worse? So bad that his own Dad would murder him? Was he going to build a weapon to destroy the world, like Dr. Evil might? I mean, come on!

Then, the whole family subplot is dropped for 6 or 8 episodes like a moldy loaf of bread. Now it's coming back next week. Ugh.
