Evidently they requested a meeting with George Bush, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State, Adviser Karl Rove, Press Secretary, and others.

The meeting took place for 75 minutes and Bush was exposed to the most candid and unvarnished conversation he has ever had with GOP members.

They informed him that the people within their confressional districts were prepared for political defeat in the 2008 elections.

They informed him that they no longer wanted to receive information about the war in Iraq from him because he has lost complete credibility.

They only trust General Patreus for accurate information about the war in Iraq.

Bush stated that he didn't want to hand the war over to the next president.

Bush said that he especially didn't want to hand it over to a Democratic President.

There will be more details about this serious meeting coming out within the next 24 hours, but it looks like many GOP members of Congress will be abandoning the Bush war policy.

Yes - It was heavily disucssed on Keith Olbermann's show last night. Eleven, yes ELEVEN of Bush's supposed closest supporters, all Congressmen - All Republican's went behind closed doors and verbally abused him for being such an Egomeniachal Assssss - Maybe, for once, he will listen to someobody other than his own self. How can it not be evident, or brutally clear to this man what he has done to our Country?

I say: Good for the guys in Congress. We need something to change, and before 2008.

Just keep in mind what happened on September 11, 2001. The radical Islamists started a war against America on this date. What was our response, invade Afghanistan.

Now we are entrenched in a heavy war against radical Islamists in Iraq and everybody wants to bring the troops home. One might ask, what will the radical Islamists do once we have left Iraq and of course we all know where they will attack next.

So, be prepared to be a soldier and defend your country or submit to radical Islam when they come knocking down your door and cutting off heads.

Never forget September 11, 2001 its a strong message about how far these radicals will go. All the way to the World Trade Center in an airplane full of innocent people!

There are no GOP members in Congress. Haven't been for years. Maybe one or two, at most, and they're gone. These GOP folks supposedly had a majority for a short while, but they were really Rinos.

Don't take them seriously. Don't take the Dems seriously either. There's only one of them left, name Joe. The rest are socialists and communists.

The libs are turning this non-event into a major event like the did with the 1776 - 1976 slip to the Queen. People should be more concerned that Obama thinks 10,000 people died in the Kansas tornado's.
