I sleep 7. at first i needed 10 hours of sleep but i got so used to it that even on weekend i cant sleep more then 8 hours.

Most days (I work nights) I sleep about 6 hours. Weekends I try to get at least 8 hours a day/night.

I get 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 hours but I really need 8 1/2 -9 hours of sleep

I'm a college student so it's very inconsistent. I work on weekends, too. So Monday-friday I can get anywhere from 4-12 hours of sleep. Some nights I stay up late working on a project or studying for a test and get around 4. Then the next night I may skip my morning classes and sleep til noon and get close to 12 hours of sleep. Friday nights I get about 10-12 since I don't have to get up early, but I work early Sunday mornings so Saturday night I usually only get 4-5 hours of sleep.

It kinda sucks.

8-9 hours naturally
since i have an irregular work schedule i don't get more than 6 hours of sleep when i work

i read that there was a study done where people were put in a room with closed blinds for a week and after a while the average time of sleep their bodies needed was 8 hours 15 minutes.

During the work week I get about 6 hours, which is not that great and on the weekends it depends on how late I go to bed. I have a dog who has an internal clock that wakes up at 8am so I can't sleep in late. I now take small naps from lack of sleep

I sleep for about 7-8 hours per day depending upon what time I go to bed as morning I have to get ready for office and leave home by 8:30. Anyways the minimum hrs of sleep required is 8 hrs.
