I deff. think that she should .
Just because shes famous doesnt mean she should get special treatments & not have to go .
if she did something wrong, she deserves the same exact punishment that a non-famous person would deserve or get .

Why does she think she's above the law? Because she's famous? (I won't even go into what she is famous for.)
She had her license suspended for driving under the influence. She could have killed someone.
If she can't read the document that explains her license suspension, then she should not be on the road. Does she bring someone along to read the road signs for her?
To quote Nancy Grace, "She took legal advice from a publicist. If that in fact is true, not only is she guilty of a DUI, but she's also guilty of stupidity."
I hope she goes to jail and that her jail time won't be Simple Life.

I personally think that although she did break the law and she should receive no "special treatment" because of her celebrity status that it is a total waste of money to send her there....I think our tax payer money should be spent on pedophiles, rapists and murderers for incarceration....people like Paris who drive on suspended licenses should be forced to clean up the city, graffiti, trash pick-up, public restrooms and so forth....for one, L.A. could use some help in that department, and making her do something that she feels is "beneath" her and at the same time benefit our city seems a much more appropriate punishment....make it for a three month period and make it mandatory so that she pays the price for breaking the law and will not be able to use her fancy lawyers and status to get out of it...and I don't mean a Naomi Campbell punishment either....and this should apply to everyone who thinks they can break the law and not be held accountable for their actions.....

She should definately go to jail. She broke the law on numerous occassions and if it were anyone else that did these things, they would have been in jail a long time ago with a much more stiff sentence. Her mother should be her cell mate for raising such a spoiled brat and for calling the judge and peosecutor "pathetic"!

PARIS is a skank. The fact that she thinks she provides people with beauty is a complete joke... Paris ... YOU ARE NOT HOT! You look like an underweight troll with a hawk nose. The ONLY reason you are famous is because you took the reputable name of HILTON, and smeared it with your disgusting tapes.. Your a disgrace, you deserve much more than 45 days in prison. You are one of the worlds worst role models for young girls...

Abosolutely!!!!!!!!!! She thinks cuz her parents are famous and she is an icon, you can get off. If she did'nt have money and was not so well known, she would be in jail. You hear about more people in prison cuz of drinking . So, why should she be any
different. I guess they are waiting for her to kill someone else or her (then everyone can rant and rave on how she was so good and yadiyadiya, like.................hmmm.
So, is there a petion for her to go to jail for longer. Sign me up. I will email it to everyone I know and then some.
Just to think that people are more worried worried about her than removing "IN GOD WE TRUST.". Scary!!

I definately think Paris should go to jail. She broke the law several times. If it were you or me we would recieve the same punishment. She shouldn't get a "get out of jail free" card, just because she is famous!!!!!!!!!!

She should definately go and be treated like any other person place in jail, she shouldn't get any special treatment because of who she is. Who is she to think she can get away with what she is doing and there be no consequences, I say make an example out of her.

to put this into perspective, i was jailed for 57 days for the exact same offensive only i completed my driving and alcohol courses... she's getting off a bit easy I honestly wish she and her family would quit their bitching and just own up to her mistakes. I did and though I am neither rich nor famous and have had alot more hardships in recovering from my transgressions I realize it was my fault and I have nothing to complain about, life sucks sometimes, suck it up and act like an adult.

I definitely think she deserves to go to jail. All shes done is play the blame game, and its about time she paid up for actin like a spoiled, ignorant brat that she is. If it was any of us, we'd be in jail right now.
