I had my navel piercing done 3 years ago and now, I think it's infected; it has like a red open wound sorrounding the bottom hole and was discharging a little blood and pus. That’s why I pulled the ring out tonight, hoping it’ll heal with this (‘cause I’ve been having this for 2 months!!! And it hurts a little…)
But it looks to me like the bottom hole wants to close (checked it right now and it’s forming a crust)…I don’t want it to close but still I want it to heal too. What can I do? Would seasalt work to heal the wound? Should I putt he ring back? Help me please!

wash it with saline solution. it can be found at any pharmacy. and it can take up to a year for it to heal.
Perhaps you have a aleargy to the metal used. I had the same kind of reaction when i got mine pierced, As it turned out i had a allergic reaction to the steel. I am going to have it re pierced with titanium.

I had an infected navel also. (a year ago or so) Put warm salt water on it somehow, and keep it on there for about 2-3 min. I know you said you are using H2ocean, but stop. make your own, a lighter mix. I filled a shot glass and sat so it could rest upside down without spilling. hard to explain, anyway, do that 3 times a day. Do not change it anymore! If it starts hurting, or throbbing, see a doc. Serious, K. good luck. I know it sux. make sure to rinse the are totally clean of and salt residue!! very important!! Pat dry, and have a loose fitting shirt that will not rub on it.
