Laborers are paid starting from the minimum. Working conditions conform with international standards. The quality of the products are acceptable to the international market at very cheap prices that catapulted China as an economic power.

around 80 cents an hour. Now if we get $10 to $30 dollars an hour - well that says it all - how can we compete. I have been to several textile plants - they are clean and state of the art. The final product is good to excellent. They have less experience with their workers but these workers are willing to learn and have a lot of pride in what they do. PRIDE is something that left our work force.
