I've googled my little heart out and I'm not getting lucky. I need patterns for anything funky and strange. Stuff that is weird to make for me and my creepy friends.

Can you knit socks? You can make weird and wonderful socks. You can make rude and crude socks.
If you get bored after just one, you can use to to make sock toys. See the links below for ideas.
Sock toys can also be formed with zippered compartments to hold cellphones or whatever. :-)

I think you might look at diynetwork.com and check out knitty gritty. some of those patterns may suit, especially the illusion knitting. I like knitty.com, they have interesting patterns. Once you find a pattern designer that you like, see if they have a blog with patterns. Also, there are lots of patterns that incorporate skulls,, and you may also look for 'ugly dolls' which are creepy and fun.

try listings for free form crochet. its cool , uses up ends of threads, and can always be different, it can grow too, it may start to be a hat or purse and you might make it grow into a poncho or shawl.
