It depends quite a bit on the State where they were married and where his legal residence is at and whether she has ever had a job outside of the marriage.

Get a lawyer. She committed adultry. I don't think that she will get much. He might see if he can get an anulment done. There are military lawyers and they don't like for wives to cheat on hubby while in deployment to places like that in time of war. He needs to stop him checks from going into there checking account.have it put in his parents account or something so she don't clean the bank. I wouldn't tell her that I was going to divorce her until I got the money taken care of. Good luck and tell him thank you for fighting for our country. Hubby was Navy and alot of our friends are Army.

Very little. He should make sure the wife won't go take out a big loan or incur major credit card expenses. Terminate the credit card accounts.
