There is a button. If you press it , a nondescript innocent citizen in another land will be killed.
However, you will never be caught, and nobody except you will know unless you tell somebody, nobody will revenge or nothing.

Plus you will receive 1 million dollars.
Would you push it?

You dont have to take this seriously but please be spontaneous.

Lets be real people you all know that more than likely more than 50% of people would press the button. There has been so many experiments done by phychologists that prove that, its very interesting. People are asked questions just like this one and of course everyone says no i wouldn't do that but when put in the situations they really do it. As sad as it is its been proven! So my answer would be i say i wouldn't but people do crazier things when they are by themselves.

No way. If I pushed the button, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life... always wondering what innocent life I had wasted just so I could get my greedy little hands on a new car or my dream house or whatever. The million would literally be "blood money". There is no way I could enjoy anything I bought with it. I am not rich by any means, but I have everything I need and a lot of things I want, and I didn't have to kill anyone to get it. Now if you told me the person who would drop dead was a serial killer or someone who swindled old folks out of their hard-earned pensions.......

No way! What if someone in another land is asked the same question and the innocent nondescript citizen is a member of your family?

As much as might hate myself for saying this, I might be persuaded to let someone talk me into seriously considering letting them grab my hand and forcing me to push that button. At first I said heck yeah, but then when I thought about the consequences I leaned more toward no. I'm going with the spontaneous, thoughtless, selfish answer.
Would two pushes produce two million?

No. You can't put a price on life. A million dollars is a lot of money, but do you really need it? What if that button were placed in some other country, and when it got pushed, you were the one who died??

No. I couldn't care less about other people knowing. I like to sleep well at night. A guilty conscience is a *****. Maybe if that someone was Ann Coulter, I'd push the button for free.

No. Of course I say this as someone who knows when the turn 18 they get several million in inheritense. But no way. There would be no pleasure in it. It would tear my conscience apart that someones family member or friend is dead because of me. Plus I want to earn money because of my own virtues not from someone elses death. (I plan to use the inheritense to make more money and then donate 110% of the inheritense.

I don't even kill spiders, I doubt I could kill a person.

I would rot with guilt my whole life If I did something like that. I'd feel bad for their family and what if it was a pregnant woman, or a little kid I'd be constantly thinking what if.

I'm sure there are people on here that would. I reckon if you think war is good - then its basically the same thing!

Probably. It's all good and well to take the moral highground and say "Push that button? Never!". But a million! And you'll never get caught? Or know who it was that was killed?
So tempting....

*Finger hovers above button*
