Houston Texans-

QB- Matt Schaub is definitely better than Carr, especially in pocket awareness and accuracy.
HB- Ahman Green is better than having Ron Dayne start
LT- Charles Spencer may be healthy enough to be back by minicamps! he's our best tackle.
RT- Eric Winston has improved greatly over the course of last season. He's ready to start as well.
DT- Amobi Okoye is our best DT on the roster. he and mario williams will be scary.
CB- Fred Bennett has the potential to start over DeMarcus Faggins. Dunta Robinson helped Bennett at South Carolina, and he'll help Bennett in the pros.

Though our team is much improved, I see a 9-7 season at best. This all depends on how well Schaub can adjust to starting all 16 games.

Dallas Cowboys

Where to begin:

I think Parcells was the best at talent acquisition, so I'll miss him, but Phillips is a defensive genius who I think will scheme the defense more aggressively. I think they'll destroy QBs this year.

I also love that they traded with the EAGLES for the rights to draft the pass rusher who will compete the destruction of McNabb

The improved pass rush, plus the improved free safety position will release Roy Williams to wreak havoc as he desires.

The defense will rule the league.

Romo will have a full camp as the starter and the line will solidify--there will be so much competition in camp for the OL--it will be INSANE! They will have at least two pro bowlers on the OL alone that will pave the way for a rejuvenated Julius Jones to have a 1800 yard season.

The kicking game will no longer be an issue.

I think that the first year transitioning from an intense, high stress coach like Parcells to a laid back, countrified Wade Phillips will energize the whole team.

I see them going far in the playoffs, maybe winning it all!

BTW, Washington? In the playoffs? With what QB? Talk about a pipe dream!

I'm a Ravens fan :).

R52L, I think that Jamal is on the downside of his career, evidently the Ravens do to otherwise they would have resigned him, since this ballclub is need of balance in the running game to help McNair. The Ravens seem content on taking their chances with Mike Anderson, and a healthy Musa Smith at RB.

That being said, I agree in that I don't think the Ravens have improved all that much, all though they handled their business in the draft by adding to the o-line.

The Ravens are still looking quite imposing on defense even without AD, obviously that doesn't help matters, but I still think the Ravens are in good shape heading into 2007 on the defensive side.

I think the Ravens are a good threat to win the AFC north again, even though I think the Steelers and Bengals will both be improved from last season. I look for the Bengals as a whole to be more disciplined off the feild (therefore nullifying suspensions), and Ben Roethlisburger won't have to deal with any motorcyle injuries heading into training camp.

My favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs. The really haven't improved at any positino this offseason except at linebacker (signed Napoleon Harris and Donnie Edwards). If our 2 draft picks at DT can play at all, they'll be an improvement over the D-Line from the last 7 years. Offensive line has gotten worse, recievers should be better with Dwayne Bowe, but that remains to be seen and the rest of the team is about th same.

I also am a major packer fan, as you can tell by my name, i think the packers will do better than they did last year, i mean they had all those young players and the only way they can go is up from here on out, jennings did very well for us until he got his ankle injury but i think he will come back strong this year, donald driver will play awesome as always, and i think we have a very good defence, i mean we have a awesome set of linebackers, nick barnett, AJ hawk, Brady poppinga, and we have one of the best cornerback tandoms in the NFL, al harris is a shutdown CB, and Charles Woodson had alot of Int. for us last year. I think we will go 10-6 if not better and make the playoffs, im glad brett came back, im goin to the Packers vrs. Chicago game on sunday night this year..im ready! GO PACK GO!!!!!

and to the guy that said that al harris is holding out, Al Harris signed a extention like a month ago...heres the website for it, we also got a new deal done for Nick barnett.

I am ALWAYS ready for some football.

My team is the Eagles. I think the only place they really improved is in their defensive line packages with the recent free-agent signings of Ian Scott and Montae Reagor.

With the loss of Stallworth and Garcia, the condition of McNabb, and the aging secondary, I don't see the Birds being any better than 9-7 and a wild card.

I REALLY hope they prove me wrong.

My favorite team are the Baltimore Ravens. If anything, in all honesty, they did not improve, they got worse. First they go and don't resign Adalius Thomas as soon as he hit the market, and they lost him. Also they did not resign Jamal Lewis over a million dollars or so. That is why I believe they declined. But they beefed up their offensive line, which could give McNair more time.

My favorite team is the Detroit Lions.
Just about ANYTHING is an improvement for them. They will come out and beat the Raiders in the season opener. If they lose that game...then they haven't done anything to improve.
I believe they have the best receiving trio in the league. They upgraded their running backs and offensive line also.

Chicago Bears.

25 yr fan. They are going to be very good this year. We lost Thomas but Benson is OK. Grossman will have more experience. We get 2 healthy pro bowlers back in Mike Brown at SS and Tommie Harris at DT. We will get Lance Briggs at the end of the year when he is forced to play. Adam Archeleta at FS is familiar with Lovies Defenses. Best Tight end in College, Greg Olsen, which we can use. Can you say Superbowl champs.
