family values that you had as a child?

what are some family values that you know that you will pass on, or have already passed on to your children that have been practiced in your famiy or is happening right now?

I was raised to have manners...... with the yes mams, no mams, may I be excused, etc....... my sons even asked to be excused from the table at school...... I thought the teachers would have a nervous break down, but they soon got used to it......... another one i was raised with was, you do NOT judge a person by the color or shade of their skin or other such nonsense........ my father NEVER raised his voice around us kids, NEVER did I hear my parents argue, and I absolutly positively NEVER heard a cuss word out of my fathers mouth, MEN just dont curse infront of women, AT ALL and NEVER !!!!!!!!!!!!! be honest, tell the truth, and never cheat.......... the basic stuff, but stuff this ole world REALY needs to get back into when raising kids....... Respect the person as an individual no matter how poor or rich he is.
Never give up and speak your mind.
Loyalty and family comes first.
Respect your elders and don't hurt them.
Be honest.
There are a lot more, but these are some of the most important values.

Only have sex with your brothers wife if he is out of town.
Always use a condom when having sex with your brothers wife.
You are still a virgin if you only have sex in the back seat of a car or you were drunk when you did it.
