I'm thinking Guatemala, Costa Rica, Philippines etc. but would love to hear of any reliable touring companies who specialize in exotic adventure/trekking.

Have a splendid day!

I would highly and enthusiastically recommend Malaysia, Borneo for an exotic adventure. There are so many options:

- Climb Mount Kinabalu and watch the sun rise
- Jungle trekking to see the flora and fauna
- Visiting the Mulu Caves, one of largest cave systems in the world, right in the middle of the rainforest. It's truly astounding and a world heritage site
- Seeing turtle eggs hatch
- Visiting Orang Utan sanctuaries
- Chilling out on the beach
- The Rainforest World Music Festival in Kuching
- Some of the best diving in the world off Sipidan
- Amazing food
- Visiting tribal longhouses in the middle of the jungle - they still have the heads their ancestors collected, and watch out for Tuak, the local rice wine!

I'd recommend Intrepid for tours. They're extremely reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Australia is a must!.....Cairns is beautiful Gem. It's where the rain forest and waterfall-ed cliffs meet the great barrier reef.
Queensland - great barrier reef, rain forests, opal mines, the outback, lighted highways, all electric train system (no fossil fuel), More small Islands than you can imagine.
Fly there, rent a car, and enjoy the countryside on your own.
I have never been one for tours. Australia is a tour within itself.

Go there and take time to smell the roses......
