It doesn't. Adding salt to water raises the boiling point.

Salt doesn't make water boil faster, it makes the boiling point higher thus making the water hotter than 212 degress F (sea level) as it makes the freezing point lower because the sodium changes the chemical compunds of the water.

Salt causes the temperature of water to become greater at a faster rate, that is why it boils faster.

plane water will reach a certain temprature and can not get any hotter without added pressure but sodium allows it to get hotter.
