so buy what you need ahead of time
LOL
do you understand how moronic that sounds
so its like people are still buying no matter what
so this teaches who a lesson
if the gas was bought ahead of time - they still made money
for the day no one buys
and what they didn't make on the day they are not
they will make up for the day after
so who loses
all you losers who think this is a real plan
how dumb can you get
the only way to win
is to not buy anymore gas from that day forward
forever.
one day is pointless

Well, I filled up today, so I guess I will be okay by Friday.
But, these things never work. First of all, it's not a national movement. Second of all, people that need gas will get gas. Thirdly, the gas companies really must be laughing at your feeble attempts. You think you will lower prices?
Heck no, the gas companies (if a boycott was successful) would jack prices the day after, and get back what they lost, plus probably 100 or 200% extra.
If you really want to save money on gas, park your car and take public transport, ride a bike, or at least car pool. Now THAT would make a difference if America did that!

I'm deternined to use the Public Transport and my feet for the whole of May. And so far, I've kept to my resolution. If the majority of the population would do that for even a week, it would drive home the message. Filling up your car tank and boycotting one day is meaningless. You'd still be running your car on the advance purchased gas on May 11. Just do the simple math!

What difference does it make if I buy gas on Thursday or Friday? How does a one day boycott change the imbalance in supply and demand that is driving the price of gasoline?
Wouldn't it be 'better' to reduce your driving every day and drive more efficiently every time you drive? That would change the supply and demand equation and lower the price!

Let's be clear: a one day gasoline boycott will have zero affect on gasoline prices.
Let's say you buy 17 gallons per week. If you don't buy gasoline on Friday, you'll have to buy double on Saturday. That means you still buy 17 gallons for that week. What kind of boycott is that?

To boycott and definitely harm the oil (gasoline) enterprise's is to shrink your travels that day. maximum folk will purchase gasoline in the previous or after this boycott date. given them above accepted revenues. trip with a chum, use a transit device,or do not trip in any respect.

that is dumb as using one sheet per dump! you want to boycott gasoline> park your car and don't drive till your shoe soles wear through! I burned 110 gallons yesterday, and today , and i will tomorrow also..and you appreciate the fact that i will continue, because you are hooked on what i do for you to make your American life so comfy!
